An explosive source provides the highest possible seismic resolution, particularly for targets at a depth shallower than 1000m. Velseis has over 30 years of experience in high-resolution explosive reflection. Drilling services are provided by our Seisdrill division, with drilling rigs specifically suited to shot hole drilling. Additional drilling subcontractors are used as required. Velseis is licensed to purchase and handle explosives. Our preloaders are highly experienced, and our QHSE protocols are comprehensive and regularly audited.
