Velseis also conducts focused geophysical research in response to client demands for higher resolution imagery. Recent specialised projects include model-based and multi-component processing, and vicoelastic finite-difference survey modelling. Our work on converted-wave refraction has attracted ongoing support from the Australian Coal Association Research Program (ACARP).
